At the Ritz Paris, a school lives in the heart of our kitchens. Our Ecole is unique in the world, a place where French know-how is taught to aspiring professionals until they achieve excellence and to culinary enthusiasts, be they novices, experienced Chefs, or budding young cooks. All our classes are conducted in French and simultaneously translated into English.
Master Class with Benoît Castel
Eager for new experiences, Benoît Castel started as a pastry chef
in a restaurant with Hélène Darroze.
Four years and two Michelin stars later, he set himself a new challenge
and started working at Hôtel Costes.
In 2004, he went to ‘La Grande Epicerie’ and developed a more in-depth expertise about products.
His creativity did wonders, stimulated by numerous collaborations
– for example with Victoire de Castellane (a jewelry designer),
Jérôme Mesnager (a street artist) and Marc Brétillot (a food designer).
